Tadaya is a habit tracker for iPhone. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.

The short version: Tadaya does not collect anything. It has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.

What Tadaya stores

Tadaya stores the things you create in the app:

• The habits you add, and their names
• Your counts, goals and sub-trackers
• Notes you write on a habit
• Your activity history — the record of when you logged a tap, used to draw the chart on a habit's detail screen
• Your settings, such as the widget background you chose

All of this is stored only on your iPhone, in Tadaya's own storage area, which it shares with the Tadaya home-screen widget so the two show the same information.

What Tadaya does not do

• It does not collect or transmit your data. The app contains no networking code at all — it cannot send information anywhere, to us or to anyone else.
• It does not require an account, an email address, or a sign-in.
• It does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• It does not include any third-party software libraries.
• It does not ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.

We, the developer, never see your habits, your counts, or your notes. There is no mechanism by which we could.

Backups

Because your data is stored on your iPhone, it is included in your own device backups if you back your iPhone up to iCloud or to a computer. Those backups are controlled entirely by you and by Apple under Apple's terms — Tadaya has no access to them and no involvement in them.
