Tadaya is a habit tracker for iPhone, built on counters rather than checkboxes — for the habits where the honest question isn't "did you?" but "how much?".

Getting help

Email [email protected] with questions, problems or suggestions. It's a small app maintained by one person, so a reply usually takes a day or two.

If you're reporting a problem, these help a lot:

Common questions

Where is my data? On your iPhone, and nowhere else. Tadaya has no accounts and no servers. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Can I get my data back after deleting the app? No. Deleting Tadaya removes everything it stored, and there is no copy anywhere else — not with us, because we never had one.

Why doesn't my widget update? Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own schedule rather than instantly. Tapping a habit in the widget updates it straight away; changes made inside the app appear when you leave the app.

Can I put different habits on different widgets? Yes. Press and hold a widget, choose Edit Widget, and pick which habits it shows. You can also give each widget its own title and background.

A habit's count went up on its own — why? If a habit has a sub-goal, its main count moves when you finish a day rather than on every tap. Eight cups of water is one completed day, not eight.
